Purdue Facility to Study Crops With Drones

(WEST LAFAYETTE) – A planned facility at Purdue University is expected to help farmers throughout Indiana. The College of Agriculture is investing $10 million into an automated facility designed to help researchers manage hundreds of acres of crops being studied by way of observation drones. The Indiana Soybean Alliance and the Indiana Corn Marketing Council are also contribution $4 million to the project.
