Crude oil prices said to have pushed up Hoosier gasoline prices

By Network Indiana | Published on in Uncategorized

The state gas average has gone up more than a dime in the last week.  The rise is being blamed on crude oil prices, said oil-price expert Trilby Lundberg.  Indiana now has the 16th most expensive gas in the 50 states.  The state average was at $2.21 Monday morning.  The cheapest gas was in Crawfordsville, at $1.91 per gallon. The average in Indianapolis was $2.23, which was up almost 12 cents since this time last week, and the average in Ft. Wayne was $2.25, which was up nearly 18 cents.
