A recent study by the Fort Wayne – Allen County Department of Health shows overdose deaths in Allen County increased by 93 percent from 2008 to 2015. The report was presented Monday night during a Board of Health meeting. It said most of those deaths were accidental, involving multiple substances and occurred at individual’s homes. Drug overdose deaths increased by 300 percent nationwide.
