The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a more than $47 million contract to Honeywell International in South Bend. The five-year contract calls for the production of aircraft wheel and brake spare parts for the U.S. Air Force. All of the work for the contract will be performed in Indiana and is expected to be complete by December 21, 2021.
