13th-ranked BSU MVB wins; Basketball doubleheader at Worthen Arena, Saturday
Ball State celebrates the 25th anniversary of the opening of its 11,500-seat Worthen Arena, tomorrow, with a basketball double-header.
James Whitford’s men’s basketball Cardinals tip off at 1 p.m. against Western Michigan. Then at 3:30 p.m., Brady Sallee’s women’s basketball Cardinals take on Northern Illinois. Each game will also be televised on ESPN-3.
Last night in men’s college volleyball, 13th-ranked Ball State beat 12th-ranked George Mason in Worthen Arena, 3 to 1. The VolleyCards are 7-and-1 on the season.
