BSU WBB Wins 7th-Straight Road Game at EMU

Brady Sallee’s Ball State women’s basketball Cardinals kept rolling last night with their seventh-straight road win – beating Eastern Michigan 64 to 54. Senior center Renee Bennett nailed down 25 points – 23 of those coming in the second half.

Ball State is now 21-and-8 overall, and 14-and-3 atop the Mid-American Conference West Division, tied with Central Michigan. The Cards wrap up their regular season with a Saturday home game with Toledo. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.  You can also see the game on ESPN-3.

Ball State has a first-round bye again this year for next week’s MAC Tournament in Cleveland.

Meanwhile, James Whitford’s Ball State men’s basketball Cardinals wrap up their regular season Friday night at home.  Northern Illinois visits Worthen Arena for a 7 p.m. tipoff.  The Cards are 19-and-11 overall, and 10-and-7 atop the MAC West.  Ball State is tied with Western Michigan for the MAC West Division crown.
