7-and-0 BSU WBB Beats Purdue 66-60; BSU MBB at 9th-Ranked Notre Dame, Tonight (Tues.)

Brady Sallee’s Ball State women’s basketball Cardinals beat Purdue at Mackey Arena last night 66 to 60 to remain perfect on the season at 7 and 0.  It’s the first win for the Cards over the Boilermakers in women’s basketball since 1979. Moriah Monaco scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Ball State.

Tonight, James Whitford’s Ball State men’s basketball Cardinals are on the road to face 9th-ranked Notre Dame.  It’s the first meeting between the Cards and the Irish since 1976.  Notre Dame leads the series 9 games to zip – each of those contests were Irish home games.  Tipoff, tonight, is at 7 p.m.  You can see the game on ESPN-3 and the ACC Network Extra.
