Dis Agustdottir scores 34 as Ball State demolishes Ohio 78 to 53

Brady Sallee’s Ball State women’s basketball Cardinals turned on the jets after a sluggish first quarter to beat the visiting Ohio Bobcats 78 to 53, Wednesday night at Worthen Arena. The Cards picked up their 22nd win of the season against 4 losses.
Thelma Dis Agustdottir had a career night, scoring 34 points, including 9 three-pointers, tying a program record.
Ball State is alone atop the Mid-American Conference with the win, coupled with Bowling Green’s loss, last night to Northern Illinois.
Speaking of Northern Illinois, the Cards play there Saturday at 2 p.m.
