Ball State and Philadelphia Eagles star running back Tim Brown profiled in new book

Perhaps the best football player in Ball State history – a man who became one of the NFL’s greatest running backs – came not out of Scheumann Stadium, but out of the modest athletics field across University Avenue from Ball Memorial Hospital.  The player was Tim Brown of Ball State Teachers College.

Former Ball State Teachers College dean Dr. Roy Weaver, with two fellow authors, tells the story of the humble and multi-talented athlete in a Morning Edition interview with Stan Sollars.
