The Indiana Pacers pulled off a stunning finish in the first NBA Finals game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, defeating them 111-110.

While on the road in Oklahoma City, the Pacers trailed the Thunder for the entire game – even being down by 15 at one point in the fourth quarter. But Indiana  turned it around in the last few minutes, and a shot by Tyrese Haliburton in the final second of the game gave the team the one point lead.

The Pacers are considered the underdogs in this year’s finals ranking fourth in the Eastern conference. Whereas the Thunder is the top seed in the Western conference.

This is only the second time the Pacers have competed in the NBA Finals. The last time was in 2000, when they took on the Los Angeles Lakers but lost.

The next game will be in Oklahoma City again, on Sunday. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00pm.
