Democratic and Republican Leaders to Hold “RFRA” News Conferences

(STATEHOUSE) – Both Republicans and Democrats have scheduled news conferences today (Monday) to react to the latest fallout from the so-called Religious Freedom Restoration Act. 

House Speaker Brian Bosma and Senate President Pro Tem David Long, both Republicans, will talk about their plans to clarify what the law means.

Democratic Senate leader Tim Lanane and Democratic House Leader Scott Pelath will also talk about their plans for legislative action against the law.
