Indiana Demos Asking Governor for Details on Porter Novelli Spending
(STATEHOUSE) – Indiana Democratic Party Head John Zody is asking Governor Mike Pence what the state got from paying $365,000 to a public relations firm amid the RFRA uproar. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation ended the marketing contract with Porter Novelli the end of June. It was originally $750,000 when hammered out in May, but state officials cited economic growth and said Indiana no longer needed the firm‘s services. The contract was originally set to run through September. Zody says he remains unclear about the true purpose of the contract.
