CDC Officials in Indiana Discussing HIV Outbreak

(SCOTT COUNTY) – Top officials from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are in Indiana this week meeting with Governor Pence and state health officials about the HIV outbreak in southeastern Indiana. 142 HIV cases have been reported related to the outbreak, the large majority of cases caused by sharing needles while injecting drugs.
