Indianapolis a top market for high-tech job growth

A new report places Indianapolis among the top markets for high-tech job growth in North America. CBRE Inc. says between 2013 and 2015, tech jobs grew at a nearly 28 percent clip. The figure puts Indy fifth overall, just ahead of the Silicon Valley.

From 2012 through 2014, CBRE says data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics show the market grew by by 25.7 percent. Indianapolis was behind San Francisco, Phoenix, Austin and Charlotte, but ahead of the Silicon Valley, Toronto, New York City, Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth.
