Proposed bill would do away with gun permits

If you own a handgun, then you know you have to have a license to carry it. But one state lawmaker wants to pass a law that would allow people to carry it without a permit. State Representative Jim Lucas says applying for a license is “burdensome” and it’s something gun owners shouldn’t have to do. State law currently requires a person to have a license in order to carry a handgun in their car or on themselves.
