Anderson University announced today that it will build a new performance hall on campus.  University officials say the Performance Hall and Galleries Project is a 24,000 square foot facility with an estimated cost of $4 million.  The new building will be attached to the Krannert Fine Arts Building and have audience seating for 400 people.  Chris Williams says the flexible performing space and choir loft will also be built with acoustics in mind to showcase the university’s School of Music performances.  AU hopes to begin construction this summer.  The building is scheduled to take 18 months to construct.
