Lawmakers Chart Boundaries of ISTEP Replacement Exam

A year after repealing the ISTEP exam, legislators have set the guidelines for what will replace it.  Indiana will still commission its own, Indiana-specific exam. But House Speaker Brian Bosma says the State Board of Education has instructions for seeking bids that will produce a test half as long with quicker results.
