Eleven Marsh stores in Indiana are now under the control of Fresh Encounter and changes to the stores could be coming soon.

The Findlay, Ohio, company took over ownership of the stores on Thursday.  On Wednesday, a sign at the Hartford City Marsh announced the store would close at 10:00 PM that night, reopening sometime on Thursday morning under new ownership.  Crews on Wednesday were taking inventory and setting up new equipment.

The Marsh store website has been replaced with a list of the 15 Marsh store locations bought by Fresh Encounter.

Fresh Encounter officials weren’t available for comment this week.  In a statement, the company says the Marsh stores will “be rebranded on a regional basis in the coming months.”

Employees at a few Fresh Encounter-owned Marsh stores say they haven’t been told about their future employment at the company.
