Tornado Confirmed in White County

The National Weather Service says a weak tornado caused minor damage in northern Indiana’s White County. The weather service says the EF-0 tornado with peak winds of 85 mph was on the ground for about eight minutes Sunday afternoon, traveling about 1.8 miles near the towns of Idaville and Burnettsville. The twister, with a maximum width of 50 yards, tossed a porch to the other side of a house and lifted the roof of the same home about three feet before setting it back down.
