In our hyper-speed, digital age – we tend to think of even the 1990s as “a long time ago” — it’s easy to lose track of our Indiana history, of the time when this was part of the Northwest Territory and a place of remarkable battles over the future of the land. We’ll look at the battle 221 years ago this week that was the worst defeat ever for U.S. troops by Native Americans. On a lighter note, our vote for the largest flag in IPR-land – if not the entire state: the landmark banner waving over the Daleville car dealership of Sam Pierce.
