Judge Dumps AG Hill’s Motion to Stop More Marion County Early Voting Centers
A federal judge has denied Attorney General Curtis Hill’s motion to halt a plan to establish more early voting centers in Marion County (Indianapolis). Hill had previously motioned to block the plan saying the decision to add satellite voting locations was not made by unanimous vote from the county Election Board, which he says violates state law. However, Judge Sarah Evans Barker shot down that motion, saying the plan was unanimously voted upon by the board.
