The city of Muncie is putting restrictions in place to keep City Hall healthy as coronavirus continues to spread in Indiana. As of Thursday, Delaware County does not have a case of COVID-19, the illness caused by coronavirus.  But on advice from the county health department, changes have been made at City Hall through the end of March.

The city asks everyone to do as much business on the phone as possible.  If you have to come to City Hall, call ahead.  When you get there, your temperature “may be taken.”

Muncie Mayor Dan Ridenour’s office says public meetings will still take place, but is suggesting people consider attending by live stream instead.

And, as the county health department suggests, “We are asking all citizens and employees who may be experiencing illness, or symptoms of COVID-19, to please stay home.”
