March is Disability Awareness Month and Ball State students are volunteering with the Prism Project, which helps special-needs kids learn social skills through performing arts and by working with others. The  Project was founded in 2009 by Michael Daehn and Ryan and Amy Hourigan through an immersive learning grant. On one recent Saturday as the Ball State students worked with their young performers in a music room, we talked with Ryan Hourigan and some of his volunteers about the difference that dance, music and theater can make….
