BSU President Mearns says the timing of the university’s mask mandate lift is prudent

We are about two weeks shy of the two year mark since the start of the pandemic, and the bugout of the Ball State University community to head home and shelter.  At the end of business, today (Fri.), Ball State will lift its COVID-19 indoor mask mandate.

Ball State President Geoff Mearns tells us about why specifically the mandate is being lifted, and comments on the timing of the mandate’s end that lands just as Spring Break begins.  He also addresses the recently engaged retirement program for the university’s faculty on this week’s Ball State Update.  You can hear the entire interview on the audio app, below:
