Heather Hines

Manager of Business Operations

Heather Marie Hines joined Ball State Public Media in February 2022. She grew up just outside of Muncie in Selma, IN graduating from Wapahani High School before moving to New Orleans. Heather returned to Selma in February 2013 with a BS in Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration from Western Governors University. She has worked in non-profits for several years before coming on board with BSPM.

Since joining the Ball State community Heather participated in Safe Zone Training for LGBTQ+ and a program to become an Inclusive Excellence Ambassador. With a passion for human rights, Heather chairs BSPM’s DEI Committee.

When not working, Heather takes care of her menagerie of dogs, chickens, tortoises, turtles, frogs, reptiles, beetles, and snails.
