In February, BlueNotes Classic Jazz turns the clock back to the decades of the 1930s and ’40s. Join host Larry Beck for the BlueNotes annual salute to bands and vocalists of the Swing Era, a time when jazz was America’s most popular music. Featured artists include Benny Goodman, the Dorsey Brothers, Ella Fitzgerald, Glenn Miller, Peggy Lee, and Artie Shaw. Several rare radio transcriptions are also on the playlist.
