Ball State PBS and Indiana Public Radio present the premiere of Comfort and Joy: An IPR Radio Drama Retrospective at 8 p.m. Dec. 11. The documentary will premiere simultaneously on the radio and TV stations.

What began as a one-time offering of Orson Wells’ War of the Worlds in 2008 became a now annual tradition enjoyed by all ages.

This documentary tells the story of a unique collaboration — among the stations, community members, Ball State faculty, and Ball State students — to create a nostalgic storytelling experience that pays homage to “theater of the mind” radio programs of the 1940s.

Encore performance Friday, Dec. 25 at 2 p.m.
