Hearts and Hands United of Delaware County

Hearts and Hands United of Delaware County is an organization that serves the school supply needs of the children of Delaware County. A 501 c (3) group of volunteers, Hearts and Hands formed in 2008 to give those children a proper start to each new school year. The organization strives, with the generosity of the citizens of Delaware County, to send each child to school with the proper tools and a new pair of sneakers to bring forward that solid start. Hearts and Hands also works to gain warm, new and gently used coats for children and added adults each Fall in anticipation of the potentially rigorous Indiana winter. As an all-volunteer organization, they host events to assist the raising of funds to aid those in need.
