A Ball State University graduate and three-time women’s boxing champion is part of a group helping people with Parkinson’s disease. The cause of the disease is unknown, and treatments have varying levels of success. But since 2006, an Indianapolis group called Rock Steady Boxing has provided non-contact boxing training to improve the quality of life for those with Parkinson’s.
