The Boys & Girls Club of Muncie has doubled its attendance this year, part of a new strategy to provide more mentoring for the young people who call the Southside club their part-time home. Bill Green is executive director. On a busy, hectic day at the club, with dozens of kids playing ping-pong, shooting baskets and lining up for lunch, he talked about the successes – and struggles of helping young people who sometimes come from very challenging backgrounds.
