“Bloomington Deer”  03/21/14 – The city of Bloomington may let sharpshooters into a city park later this year to thin large herds of deer said to be causing serious damage. The plan has led to a vigorous debate among people concerned with animals’ welfare – including some who say that not shooting the deer will doom them to starvation and disease.
