Anderson and Connersville brainstorm how to market brownfields
The cities of Anderson and Connersville have a problem – they each have hundreds of acres of land once owned by auto manufacturing plants that now sit vacant. Each city hopes to attract businesses to reuse the empty spaces and bring jobs to the area. This week, the cities are jointly hosting visiting federal and state officials to brainstorm how to do that. IPR’s Stephanie Wiechmann reports.
