Water company flushing Muncie water lines
Indiana American Water will be working on Muncie water lines in September and October, flushing water pipes and fire hydrants. From 8 A-M to 4 P-M Monday through Friday, the company will flush lines in neighborhoods throughout the city as part of an annual maintenance program. Muncie Superintendent Dan Allen says water will not be turned off to any houses. But water may turn colors temporarily. The company suggests not doing laundry when workers are flushing neighborhood lines… but by press time did not have a schedule of where they will be working on what dates. Work is scheduled to be completed on October 16th.
