StateImpact Indiana: Statewide test options explained

More Indiana students passed the statewide ISTEP test this year than last year.  But the statewide standardized test that rates students and schools – and is a big part of teacher evaluations – is going away.  It will have to be replaced or retooled to match expectations for what students should know and learn at each grade level.  StateImpact Indiana’s Kyle Stokes and Elle Moxley explain the options the state is considering.
