Needle exchange bill passes General Assembly, but with caveats
The number of people infected with HIV in southeastern Indiana’s Scott County continues to grow — more than 140 people have tested positive so far. To try and prevent similar outbreaks from occurring in other counties, the General Assembly took action yesterday on a bill that would allow needle exchanges in some counties. Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Jake Harper reports.
