(MUNCIE) –  Ball State’s baseball Cardinals won their final, regular-season game at home today over Northern Illinois, 9-4.  The win propelled the Cards to a 30-and-23 overall record, and a 14-and-13 Mid-American Conference tally.  Ball State earned the fifth seed in the MAC Tournament and will face fourth-seeded Toledo Wednesday at 8 p.m., at the MAC tournament site in Avon, Ohio.  The two teams met in the regular season and the Rockets won two of three games in the series, in Muncie.
