(CARMEL) – The City of Carmel is considering a new ordinance to keep students safe. The proposed ordinance would create designated “no student pickup or drop-off” zones. It would make it illegal for drivers to stop, stand or park in designated areas. Anyone caught doing so could face a citation. If the ordinance is passed it will take effect at the beginning of next school year.
