(SPEEDWAY, IN)  –  Scott Dixon won the pole for the Indy 500 with a speed off 226.760 MPH, Will Power, Simon Pagenaud, Tony Kannan and Helio Castroneves rounded out the top five. In the final practice session Will Power hit 227.377 MPH with Jack Hawksworth right behind him.
