Ball State Beats VMI in Season Football Opener

(Muncie, IN) Ball State beat VMI 48-36 in their season opener. Darian Green tied a school-record with four touchdowns, three rushing and one catching. He finished with 147 total yards of offense. Quarterback Jack Milas was 34-for-52 for 338 yards and a touchdown. The Cards led by as much as 24 points in the third quarter.

Next up for Ball State:  Texas A&M, on the road, a week from Saturday.

 

Elsewhere in the Mid-American Conference last night:

Central Michigan lost at home to Oklahoma State, 24 to 13.

Ohio trounced Idaho on the road, 45 to 28.

And the Toledo-Stony Brook game was cancelled due to severe weather.
