Four Cities Form Data-Sharing Group
(INDIANAPOLIS) – Four central Indiana mayors will announce a joint open data initiative today (Mon) and establish central Indiana as a leader in regional open data. Fishers, Greenwood, Indianapolis and Zionsville have all agreed to jointly pursue open data policies and share best practices. Efforts are underway to recruit more regional partners. Other U.S. cities have launched individual open data initiatives, but this marks the first time multiple cities have come together to pursue regional open data.
