BSU Economist Says November Unemployment Report Is Positive
(MUNCIE) – The nation’s November unemployment report is out. Ball State University economist Dr. Mike Hicks calls it quote, “the most unambiguously positive on record.” November unemployment held at 5.0% with employers adding 211,000 jobs. Also September and October numbers were revised upward to show an additional 50,000 jobs created during the two-month period. Hicks says the news sets the stage for the Federal Reserve to go ahead and raise interest rates possibly by one-quarter of one percentage point.
