(MARION) – Authorities arrested six people during last Friday’s impaired drivers checkpoint in Marion. Three people were arrested for dui while three others were arrested on misdemeanor charges. Numerous citations and warnings were also issued. This comes as authorities say impaired driving claimed the lives of more than 10-thousand people on American roadways in 2013.
