(STATEHOUSE) – Animal welfare advocates are at the Statehouse Tuesday for Indiana Voices for Animals Day. They are trying to gain support for a statewide spay/neuter bill that will result in dramatic decreases to pet homelessness and euthanasia rates for Indiana’s animals. Another bill would give judges the legal authority to include animals in protective orders for victims of domestic violence.
