BSU MBB Loses at Buffalo; Double-Header Coming Saturday
James Whitford’s Ball State men’s basketball Cardinals fell short last night at Buffalo, 76-to-64. The Cards were sloppy with the ball for the second straight game. They committed 19 turnovers. Ball State’s league-leading, 3-point shooting was off last night as well. The Cards made only 4 out of 18 treys.
Ball State’s Jeremiah Davis scored a team-high 13 points, all in the second half.
Ball State is now 13-7 overall, 4-3 in the MAC West. The Cards, return home to host Akron as part of a men’s/women’s doubleheader Saturday at Worthen Arena. The action begins at 1 p.m.
Brady Sallee’s Ball State women’s basketball Cardinals take on Ohio at 4 p.m., as part of the double-header.
