Ball State’s men’s basketball Cardinals picked up their 13th win against six losses while committing an amazing 25 turnovers in a double-overtime thriller at Eastern Michigan, 88 to 87.  Each team hit 27 field goals, and Eastern outscored the Cards 30 to 22 at the foul line.  But it was Ball State canning 12 out of 31 treys to the Eagles’ 3 out of 17 effort beyond the arc that sealed the win — including Francis Kiapway’s seventh 3-pointer of the game with seven-tenths of a second left in the second overtime period that sealed the win for the Cards.  Ball State is now 4-and-2 in Mid-American Conference play.
