(INDIANAPOLIS) – About 100 people gathered outside the statehouse Saturday in support of “four words and a comma.” They want Indiana’s civil rights law expanded to cover sexual orientation and gender identity. And they oppose Republican proposals that include exemptions that others say are necessary to avoid creating “special rights” at the expense of religious freedoms.
