Location Affects Access to Health Care in Indiana
(BLOOMINGTON) — Where you live might be affecting your health. A new study from Indiana University shows that your location in the Hoosier State seriously affects the sort of access you have to health care. Urban counties tend to offer more doctors, dentists, and other healthcare workers, while more rural areas may not offer them at all. However, the study also notes that cities can have a more difficult time keeping up with demand.
