The No. 9 Ball State men’s volleyball Cardinals beat fellow Midwestern Collegiate Volleyball Association member Quincy University Thursday evening at Worthen Arena. The Cards extended their win streak to nine games with a three-zip sweep of the Hawks. Ball State is now 12-and-3 overall – a perfect 6-and-0 in the MIVA. Next up: The Cards play Lindenwood, tonight, at Worthen Arena. First serve is at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, both Ball State basketball teams are in action. Eastern Michigan visits Worthen Arena to take on James Whitford’s Ball State men’s team. The Cards lead the MAC West with a 9-and-6 record and overall tally of 18-and-10. Tipoff is at 2 p.m. You can see the game on ESPN-3.  Brady Sallee’s Ball State women’s basketball Cardinals, meanwhile, are on the road at Eastern Michigan. The Cards are 18-and-8 overall, and 10-and-5 in the MAC West – good for second place.  Tipoff is at 2 p.m.
