(INDIANAPOLIS) – Construction has started on the Indiana Bicentennial Plaza next to the Statehouse. The $2 million project will have two sculptures and an interactive water fountain, designed to reflect on Indiana’s 200th anniversary of statehood. The designer of the plaza, MKSK Studios, says that it will also “produce safer traffic and pedestrian patterns” in and around the Indiana Government Center. The project is expected to be finished in September.
