Indiana Popcorn Production Down

(WEST LAFAYETTE) — There’s less popcorn popping up in Indiana fields lately. The state produced almost 30 percent less popcorn in 2015 than the previous two years. Scientists at Purdue think it’s because wetter growing seasons made it tough for crops to pop. Farmers are also giving less land to popcorn.
